Rick's Favorites From 2016

In any given year, thousands of articles and blog posts are written about the “best” things of that particular moment. Inevitably, some of these recommendations will overlap with your interests or passions. Other articles, however, represent ideas you might not have yet discovered for yourself. They may be surprises to you at the time but will likely stand out as highlights from the 365 days that preceded them. With this in mind, here is a list of my favorite things from 2016.

So, there you go. That’s my “Best of 2016” recap with a few of my personal favorites.

This year has been one of the most exciting years in my career. There is no better feeling than being able to wake up every morning knowing that all you need to do is start the day off in a great mood. It matters to focus on things we are thankful for and appreciate the moments throughout life. The best way to start the New Year right is to make a promise to yourself. When you’re feeling overwhelmed or weighed down, take 3 minutes to write down three things you love about your life right now. It will give you the boost you need to get over those hurdles. Remember, it is always worthwhile to be grateful. Focus on the positive side. It will make you feel empowered and inspired to take on the year ahead.

Thank you for 2016, and looking forward to an awesome 2017!

Take care!
