P.S. – Before I go, I want to share with you how Paul got into stretch therapy:

I stumbled onto this about three years ago at a conference in Whistler and it’s changed what I was doing. I’ve always had an interest in correcting human posture and human performance from a stretching standpoint and I found that this was probably one of the fastest ways of correcting things before you start adding in strength. I believe that if you’re looking at somebody who has imbalances, and you’re trying to strengthen it, you may actually be exacerbating the imbalance.

The problem by just doing a lot of strength exercises instead of getting in there and freeing up the tissue first. I truly believe you still need the strengthening and conditioning, but in a lot of respects, if you can’t get in there and open up the tissue and have it move freely, you can’t have proper form, and you can’t have proper function. From a performance standpoint, from an elite athlete standpoint they’re looking for that little bit extra, that extra inch, that extra yard, that extra speed, so it helps with them reaching their achievements faster, reaching their peak performance quicker.
