Here are the details:
SEMINAR 1
Intervention
– An intervention by Dan John in Vancouver into your training program and the rebuilding of it for
maximal success and results
Success is not based on the exercises you do. It is based on the foundation and focus of your training. This is not a seminar where we will do all kinds of exercises. Dan will start by blowing up your training program and rebuilding it for optimal success and results.
After tearing down your program to the ground, Dan will begin with the five questions guiding your training program. After you have the answers to your five questions, we will look at what quadrant your goal is in, which quadrant you need to move to reach your goal, and what you need to do to move into that quadrant.
With your solid training program foundation, we move into movements that are the foundation of training success. We will assess these movements, highlight key cueing for each movement, and progress these movements with weight (bodyweight, barbells, kettlebells, and whatever else we can find in the gym).
Please note that this seminar will challenge everything you do. If you are where you want regarding your training and goals, this seminar is not for you. If you are open to a new perspective and want to learn how Dan John creates training success for himself and his athletes, this is the perfect seminar for you.
You will leave this course with:
- The five questions that will guide your training program toward success and results
- Identifying the fundamentals that you and your clients need to focus in on
- Determining what your goal is and seeing what quadrant it falls into
- What six movements do you need to focus on to reach your goal

SEMINAR 2
Strength Correctives
– Using self-assessment and strength corrective exercises to improve
exercise results, strength gains, and performance.
Movement trumps everything else, including muscles. Whenever you get away from the movement, everything suffers.
Dan will focus on the movements you and your client need to master to perform. Dan will start by assessing the six movements he works on with his clients and athletes. He will show you what to look for when performing the assessments on yourself or your clients. Then comes the correctives. Based on what you have seen, Dan will show you the correctives that you need to do to improve movement, results, and performance.
All this will be done with bodyweight, dowels, rings, pull-up bars, squat racks, kettlebells, barbells, and anything else he can find in the gym. Then he will wrap things up with tips on improving Olympic lifts.
You will leave this seminar with:
- The cueing, wording, and key assessment details to take your clients and athletes through strength corrective assessment
- Assessments and exercises that you can use with your clients and athletes on Monday to improve strength
- The difference between corrective exercise and strength corrective
- Six movements that you or your client must master to get the results you desire
- Strategies that improve and hinder movement
- How to weave your corrective work into your training and workouts
- Ways to improve Olympic lifting movement and results
- Have your pressing questions about training, kettlebells, Olympic lifting, and life answered by Dan John in Vancouver
