Start off by just pressing the ball into that area. Roll the ball in circles clockwise and counter-clockwise and move it up and down. In order to progress, move towards the wall where you will have the ball between yourself and the wall.
Roll the ball in circles clockwise and counterclockwise. Start off with 5 repetitions clockwise and counter-clockwise then see how it feels. If you feel better, continue on and do a couple more repetitions up to 10 repetitions in each direction.
