In the world of business, things can change very quickly. In fact, one moment everything may seem fine and the next there is a new paradigm that must be adapted to and understood. This has been especially true in 2010 with the emergence of social media and its ability to rapidly spread information and ideas. This can be seen in some of the biggest trends in business that have emerged this year. Everything from collaborative consumption to flash sales have taken center stage in businesses everywhere. With so much happening at once, it’s also opened new doors for existing businesses and even given rise to brand new ones. The boot camp business may be one such industry that has grown as a result of the changing times. Continuing the trend of examining a specific business topic in a rush, we decided to write another Bootcamp post. In 2010, we learned a lot about the company from a variety of Business lessons. While many organizations suffered in the last year, others were forced to adapt or perish, it was a wonderful year for us.
Collaborative Consumption
Nothing is more indicative of the times than the popularity of collaborative consumption. The sharing economy has taken off in a big way in the last 12 months, and it shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, it’s only expected to grow and expand as people become more cognizant of the amount of stuff they actually have and the negative impact that has on the environment. As more and more businesses begin to cater to the collaborative consumption trend, it’s important to make sure your business is on the right track. Collaborative consumption is all about connecting people with products and services they need. It’s not just about finding a way to get items you need cheaper, it’s about breaking down barriers and making it easier to get what you need, when you need it, no matter where you are.
I can’t get the Bootcamp stuff out of my head.
Since I made my #6 prediction.
So I am just going to go with it.
I will do a few more blog posts on boot camps and give you some great information. I have a friend, but one of my friends stands out.
She runs boot camps in Orlando, Florida.
She has been doing very well with boot camps. I asked if she could do a quick video highlighting her Biggest Bootcamp Business Lessons from 2010.
We all indeed make blunders, and I don’t want you to replicate the errors other boot camp operators have made.
I am so excited that she was willing to share her mistakes with you.
Leanne shares with you:
- Her Bootcamp business story
- The number one thing you need to do to have a successful boot camp business
- The importance of before and after pictures
- What you want to make sure you build into your boot camp classes
- The importance of over-delivery
- Importance of having a system to follow for a successful boot camp business
- The most important tasks you should focus on to grow your boot camp business
