Adrienne Coombs

Adrienne began her education with a degree in Kinesiology from Langara College in Vancouver, BC. Following this, she studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Academy of Classical Oriental Sciences in her hometown of Nelson, BC, where she finished her 5-year Doctorate of TCM.

Growing up immersed in wilderness, Adrienne took full advantage of her surroundings, spending all her free time mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding. Being active her entire life led to Adrienne’s passion for treating those with activity-related injuries.

Adrienne has continued to further her education and has taken multiple sports medicine acupuncture courses. She graduated from Matt Callison’s prestigious Sports Medicine Apprenticeship Program in San Diego, making her one of the only certified sports medicine acupuncturists in Canada. Through this program, she learned advanced diagnostics, postural assessment, corrective exercises and acupuncture and herbal treatment strategies.

Adrienne has completed several other advanced courses in moxabustion, cupping therapy, guasha, fertility, pediatrics, neurokinetic therapy, clinical neurodynamics and myofascial release. In addition, she has completed several courses through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Adrienne’s mission is to provide a holistic, therapeutic approach to bettering one’s health. She focuses on nurturing and balancing the mind, body, and soul so that wellness can be achieved.
