Douglas College Map
Douglas College can be very confusing. I would recommend printing out a campus map if you are not familiar with Douglas College. For a full map of Douglas College – New Westminster Campus visit: http://www.douglas.bc.ca/about/campuses/maps/index.html Then select the level the room is on. If the room number starts with a 1, then it is level 1. If the room number starts with a 2, than it is level 2.

- Driving from the South:

Entrance on Sundays
On Sundays, Douglas College – New Westminster campus is closed. Participants need to enter the building through the 7th street entrance near Security Kiosk. This means all the doors to the college are locked except the 7th street entrance. The entrance is located at 7th Street and Agnes Street. Douglas College is very confusing. Please print out a street map and campus map to help make things easier on the day of the course.

Difficulties Finding the Room
Go to Security Kiosk at the 7th Street Entrance and ask them for directions.
If you have forgotten the room number that the course is in, ask them which room the “Exercise Rehabilitation” course is in. They should have it on their room booking form.
Parking
There is pay parking under the College and it is quite reasonable. The parking at Douglas College is cash only and closes at 7 pm on Saturdays. There is meter parking on the streets, but it is more expensive and you have to keep going out to feed the meter. New Westminster has a by-law that all streets without meters are two hour parking only, even if not marked.
On Sundays the Douglas College parkade is usually closed. Sometimes they leave the arms up for the day depending on what is going on in the college. The parking is free on the streets around the college on Sundays.

On Saturdays the cafeteria is open at Douglas College. Across the street on 8th street is a Subway restaurant that is open on Saturday and Sunday. If you walk to Columbia Street, there are more eating options. Please remember to bring water and snacks to keep your energy up during the course.
