Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Pumpkin spice is a favourite during the Fall season, but buying these drinks often means consuming large amounts of added sugar and fat. This recipe is dairy-free and refined sugar-free. With this healthy spin on a Fall favourite, you can enjoy the taste of the season without compromising your health. There is no need to miss out on the delicious, comforting taste of pumpkin spice lattes this Fall.

Coconut sugar is a better option than table sugar for diabetics and those watching their blood sugar. Coconut milk contains medium chain triglycerides that have been shown to improve heart health. Honey contains antioxidants, nutrients and vitamin B12. Save money on buying expensive, unhealthy drinks this season and improve your health at the same time.

Get a quick energy boost and enjoy the flavours of Fall with this pumpkin spice latte. Use your favorite brand of coffee to make this drink even more special. You can decide how strongly you brew the coffee as well. You can play around with different types of milk alternatives such as almond, cashew or oat milk. You can also control your own sweetness level by changing the amounts of coconut sugar and honey that you add.

You can get coconut cream by chilling a can of coconut milk in the fridge and scooping the thick part off of the top. This is the coconut cream. The coconut ice cream chills this drink, so there is no ice that will water down the flavour.

Share this drink with your friends and family and impress them with this healthy treat that you can make at home. With a prep time of only 20 minutes, you can prepare extra coconut ice cream and have it on hand to make this seasonal drink whenever you want.
