One thing that I noticed over the weekend while walking around the town is that many people are playing Pokémon Go. Too much playing of this mobile game may lead to forwarding head posture and neck pain. So, I have a quick forward head posture fix for you. Enjoy!

An ugly forward head posture is a common postural problem that often leads to neck and shoulder pain. This is a condition where your head is tilted forward and your neck muscles are tight. This can lead to neck and shoulder pain, headaches and even breathing problems.
The most common causes of an ugly forward head posture are:
- The use of electronic gadgets such as smartphones or tablets requires you to look down at the screen.
- Sitting in a chair for long periods of time without changing position regularly.
- A sedentary lifestyle that doesn’t include physical activity such as walking, running, or stretching regularly.
If you have an ugly forward head posture, then you are more likely to have neck pain, shoulder pain, headaches, and back pain. It can also cause headaches and dizziness, can also lead to breathing problems, and affect your mood.
As this is an unhealthy position for the body, it is important that you take steps to correct it as soon as possible.
I got Donnalee to demonstrate.
This exercise is called the 1-2-3 exercise, which is a great quick fix for forwarding head posture. The result will enable you to put your head and shoulders in proper alignment.
123 Exercise
Place your hands out front and bring your elbows backward. Bring the elbows to the side and then straighten the hands, reaching down a little bit. Perform one set of 5 repetitions, holding the end position for 5 or 10 seconds.
A good head and shoulder alignment are important for a number of reasons:
1. Breathing
When you are aligned correctly, your rib cage will be expanded and your lungs will have more space to expand, which means that you can take in more air with each breath.
2. Back Pain
When your spine is aligned properly, the discs between your vertebrae are not compressed and the muscles in your back are not overstretched.
3. Look Taller
A good head and shoulder alignment can make you look taller. If you stand up straight with good posture then people may think that you are taller than they originally thought, which can give you an advantage in many situations such as job interviews or social gatherings.
Give that exercise a go to help eliminate any neck pain created by a forward head posture.
Take care!
