Chocolate Coconut Candies


½ cup shredded coconut

2 tbsp honey

2-3 tbsp coconut oil

1 tsp rum (optional)

3 oz. unsweetened dark chocolate

  1. In a bowl mix together the shredded coconut with honey and 2 tablespoons coconut oil. You should get a mixture that can be easily shaped. If you need, add some more coconut oil.
  2. Stir in the rum if you don’t serve the candies to children.
  3. Pour the chocolate over the candies with a teaspoon. Use 2 toothpicks to roll them so they will be covered on all sides.
  4. Wait for the chocolate to harden. If you want this to happen quicker, simply put the candies in the fridge
