Muscle imbalances can be confusing, especially regarding muscle strength and size. For example, most people assume that the more powerful their muscles are, the bigger they’ll be.
However, this relationship is more complicated than it seems. Several factors can affect muscle strength and size – including genetics, age, sex, diet, and exercise patterns. So it’s essential to be aware of these variables before making any assumptions about whether you have a healthy balance between your upper and lower body muscles.
One of the first things you should know about it is that they don’t have to be a permanent condition. You have an imbalance if you’re consistently working out with weights but aren’t seeing improvements in your strength or muscle size.
This could mean that your muscles aren’t contracting correctly during workouts or that you’re taking certain types of weight training too seriously (such as high-intensity interval training). In both cases, it may be time to experiment with different training methods until you find one that works best for your goals and body type.
