Coaching works by having a neutral party between the coach and the trainee who keeps things positive, removes distractions and cues that might trigger old habits, and ensures everyone gets the support they need. It can feel like a constant battle, trying to get people to understand the value of training and how it will help them.

Personal trainers are life coaches; trained to help clients set goals, make plans, and stick to them. Unlike a life coach who works with someone for an extended time and for a fixed fee, personal trainers charge by the hour and work with clients for short sessions several times per week. But that doesn’t mean this is not an effective tool to help clients become more successful with their businesses or their personal lives.

Life coaching works because it’s based on principles that are widely accepted as universal truths.

We all have untapped potential, and our problems are temporary. Solutions are within us if we dig deep enough to find them.

How Life Coaching Can Help Your Training Clients:

One of the best ways to improve our communication and self-awareness skills is to write down our thoughts and perceptions of events that happened in our lives. By reflecting on these events and placing them in chronological order, we can gain a better understanding of how our thoughts and perceptions impacted these events and how these thoughts and perceptions affected us throughout our lives.

Through Life Coaching, the root of the problem is identified, and develop a plan to get better. It’s important to remember that physical therapy is only one piece of the puzzle. Several factors go into the recovery process. Client behavior is one of them that a lot of people struggle with.

Today, I have another interview for you on life coaching with Brenda Adams. I find the subject matter intriguing and want to learn more about it. She has been a professional fitness and kinesiologist for 16 years.

The conversation featured the following.

  • How Brenda Adams went into Coaching
  • Importance of re-writing stories of our clients and ourselves
  • How life coaching has helped Brenda as a personal trainer
  • How life coaching can help when it comes to injuries
  • The two sides of Life coaching
  • Brenda’s successful journey with clients who are struggling with their goals. Their eating habit, and social and emotional interaction.
  • Physical activities are essential to people, especially those suffering from injuries.

When you combine all four pieces of your life relationships, career, money, and health, you get a picture of someone’s life. You see that there are patterns, and you can make changes. This is what life coaching is about. Through life coaching, we help you identify the patterns that are holding you back and help you create new ones that lead to more fulfilling and successful relationships, careers, and lives. As Brenda said, “Life coaching has a huge benefit to defense professionals from a personal perspective.”

I hope you enjoy the interview.
